Indian Printing Blocks

This project uses traditional Indian printing blocks to start an idea or theme. I have developed this theme in a playful and decorative way to create unique artworks.

Abstract Resin

These pieces have developed almost like doodles from patterns on xuan paper, where my imagination took over and patterns just kept happening. I then added beads and buttons and a resin coating to add depth to the colours and hold the beads securely in place.

Winter theme

Using winter are a starting point for a collection of images using printing blocks and pattern.

Down on the Farm

The same idea has been used here to create a "Farm" themed collection. The finished artwork has been embellished with beads and finished off with a thin protective layer of resin. This adds depth to the colours and hold the beads securely in place.

Everyone deserves something Beautiful

The thinking behind this is that sometimes artworks can just be decorative and don't have to be deep and meaningful all the time. So I produced a range of resin coated small artworks that are more affordable, but are still beautiful.

Using Sheeps Fleece

Using felted pieces of Jacob sheep fleece to create a background for abstract pattern work.
